Spitzer, crime fighter extraordinaire, moral compass of the great state of state of New York, "linked to prostitution ring". First of all, does "linked to prostitution ring" just make a better news story than "accused of being a john"? Secondly, while faced with a potential indictment on federal charges, why does he come forth and apoalogize (which is basically an admission of guilt) but not go ahead and resign? Finally, how long before his wife seeks the Democratic nomination for president?

HA! Did you see the look on his wife's face yesterday...wow she was pissed! I'm pretty sure she had a knife to his back during the whole press conference.
Okay- mabye we shouldn't sling mud at the democrats, Ye-of-the-Larry-Craig-party!!!!
And his wife should have been pissed! Take note Stephen- you have a public "tryst" with a prostitute... your wife will be pissed. Write it down if you have to!
I'm pretty sure that Christy would not have been by my side, and any knife work she had to do would have been from the front - a la Bobbett (or however that crazy scalpel wielding woman spells her name).
Larry Craig was looking for some lovin' in the restroom. At least he was budget concious. 80k worth of lovin' is a whole bunch of lovin'.
